The Friends Only. project just released a massive combination titled Born In Jamaica with Jesse Royal, MediSun and Beres Hammond. The song is produced by: J.L.L.. So far, it can only be heard on YouTube, Soundcloud and Audiomack. Below you can find initial information about the project and the planned album.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Friends Only. Writing Camp took place in August 2020. Creative partners & co-producers Natalie Prospere and Alex Rivas, felt it was an important time to bring artists, musicians, producers + other creatives from Jamaica and beyond, to reignite inspiration, community, and creation. The camp took place for one week at a hideaway residence in Ocho Rios, JA. It was an environment that consisted of freedom, safety and most importantly, friendship. 

The mission was to bridge the gap between their favorite local talent in Jamaica and visiting artists and producers from the USA. In these unprecedented times, they believe in the importance of music as a source of inspiration and healing. They created a safe haven, where creatives were able to experience the diaspora culture through all the senses. 

“We curated a project born out of a rebirth of organic artist collaborations, featuring some of the most talented Jamaican & American artists of today. Seamlessly blending reggae, hip-hop, dancehall, and R&B sounds. We produced a culturally honest and authentic project.” 

Friends Only. Vol 1 set to release summer of 2025.
