It's the first week of July, it is SummerJam week! Are you ready for the 37th edition? Team Reggaeville is getting ready to move to Cologne Bay. Stay tuned for our Festival Report!

Below we have compiled the most important information, but first things first: since April 1, 2024 GANJA IS LEGAL IN GERMANY!

GANJA IS LEGAL, BUT NOT EVERYWHERE!
"Partial legalization was long overdue for many of us. Cannabis consumption is no longer a crime! Finally, puff-puff-pass among friends. Smoking weed will also be allowed for the first time at Summerjam 2024, but explicitly not near children and young people. The kids area is an absolute non-smoking area! The possession of cannabis will also be legal at Summerjam in the legally permitted quantities. So you can plan to relax by the lake with a spliff after the shows. However, we ask that you be considerate of one another if someone feels disturbed. Peace, love & happiness!"

OPENING PARTY - JULY 4
An old tradition, but with a new twist - the opening party in Vibez Village on Thursday, July 4th from 3pm. Summerjam veteran and stage host Andrew Murphy will be there with friends at 8:30 pm. to welcome you to the 37th edition of the Summerjam Festival. He will be supported by Cologne artist AMIAZ., who will be hosting the Red Stage alongside "Mr. Summerjam" for the first time this year. The Future is Female: For the very first time, only female DJs will be performing at the opening party. The performers come from the Cologne club scene and will really get us going with Dancehall, Reggae, Afrobeats and related styles.
