Dann-I ADD
Leaving a group and transitioning to a solo artiste, while still surviving the obstacles is a remarkable achievement for any artiste.
You might remember Dann-I from the popular boy group Q. They competed and claimed the fifth place spot in the 2005 season of Digicel Rising Stars. Nine years after, he has managed to maintain himself as figure in the entertainment industry.
Though still fairly new in the industry, Dann-I has gained solo recognition through his chart-topping hits such as Uncle Come and Time. For this reason, he has proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
Born Damarah Danni, Dann-I is managed by Sonny Spoon, the main man behind I-Wayne's success. And he hopes to leave his own mark as an important figure in the music industry. Fortunately for him, this year he was given the opportunity to grace the Rebel Salute and Reggae Sumfest stages. In addition, he is confirmed to perform at this year's Sting in December.
