Eek-A-Mouse Releases Video for Controversial Song

The most recent video by Eek-A-Mouse is indeed a controversial one. The tune is called Controversial Song and was already released in early August by Big Bout Ya Records outta Belgium. Back in June Eek-A-Mouse created a controversy with a series of vlogs on his YouTube channel, where he dressed like a woman, made up with lipstick and waving the rainbow flag. By no surprise he got lot of attention by Vloggers, Bloggers and Newspapers (Jamaica Star & Jamaica Gleaner). The next chapter of this controversy is now available as video.

After the recent controversy about the video he made about tolerance and respect towards gay people, Eek-A-Mouse now responds in this brand new tune: “Controversial Song”. The Riddim, a Real Rock re-lick, has been produced by Big Bout Ya records.
This is not just a raw dancehall song on a classic Riddim by a longtime legend: it’s also the first time that a leading Jamaican artist has the courage to call for tolerance and respect towards homosexuality regardless of how big the backlash in Jamaica will be.
