Fear Nuttin Band ADD
On a mission to “Unify The Music, Unify The People”
Some bands have coined themselves as revolutionary, but Fear Nuttin Band is evolutionary. With their musical roots fusing the intensity of metal, the rhythm of Jamaican dance hall and the social consciousness of hip-hop, this band is defining a genre.
The FNB sound is as diverse as the cultures the band members represent. The hot West Indian sun incubated the talents of front men Roosta (Vox), Prowla (Vox), while instrumentalists Christafari Regan (Gtr), Jay Chung (Gtr & Vox), Brian Daigle (Bass) and Mike Fuchs (Drums) represent New England’s finest. FNB has shared many miles on tour with legendary artists including Toots & the Maytals, Steel Pulse, and toured with reggae rock breakout artists SOJA, Rebelution, Tribal Seeds and many more. The band has been featured on several years of the Van’s Warped Tour; and played countless reggae & rock events.
Fear Nuttin Band was featured on FuseTV’s “Bodog’s Battle of the Bands” Reality TV show to millions of viewers in Canada & the USA and quickly became a household name. The band was awarded a major recording deal and began work on their first full-length album “YARDCORE” with legendary producer Terry Date – (Pantera, Deftones, Korn, Fishbone, etc.).
Following up on 2008′s acclaimed album “YARDCORE”, and after disparaging news that the Bodog Records (also home to artists: DMX, Fall From Grace, and The Wu-Tang Clan), closed its doors with little notice… amidst a major national tour no less, the band self-produced & released its second major album “MOVE POSITIVE” on April 5, 2011 on its own upstart indie record label imprint, BoomBlaze Records. The album immediately charted top5 on iTunes Bestselling Reggae & #2 on Amazon Bestselling Reggae Albums (USA, Cuba & Caribbean) on its first day. The album’s first single “REBEL” was co-written by personal friend and renowned artist, Jacob Hemphill of SOJA. Also on the album are two songs (Informer, and People Living Together) that feature vocals by legendary reggae artist Bushman.
Showing their unmatchable drive & ability to keep churning out the tracks, the band is now in the final phases of wrapping up their third major album, “Vibes, Love, Revolution“, scheduled to be released spring of 2012.
