The time has finally come: The first artists for the 38th edition of the SummerJam Festival at Fühlinger See (Cologne, Germany) in summer 2025 have been confirmed! In addition to national greats such as K.I.Z, Paula Hartmann and GReeeN, fans can look forward to international superstars such as Shenseea, Beenie Man and Inner Circle. But a special highlight with a sensational factor remains a secret for the time being - who will be the "Very Special Guest"? One thing is certain: the excitement is rising!
Summerjam Festival 2025 will take place from Friday, July 4th to Sunday, July 6th, 2025 at Fühlinger See in Cologne under the motto Full Of Energy. It is already clear that the organizer has big plans: "Even if the festival industry is still struggling, we want to present our visitors in summer 2025 with a festival that continues to develop, improves and at the same time does not lose sight of its history," emphasizes organizer Marius Brozi.
Summerjam Festival will remain true to its tradition in 2025 of bringing the best international artists from the reggae, dancehall and urban music scene to Cologne. Dancehall shooting star Shenseea, the King of the Dancehall Beenie Man, reggae icon Alborosie, the incomparable legends of Inner Circle and one of the most powerful voices in Jamaica, Etana, are there. "It was important to us to underline the unique magic of the Summerjam Festival with an international line-up again this year. Our headliners bring the unmistakable vibe of the Caribbean and the energy of the global community directly to Fühlinger See," says Brozi.
The local music scene will also be duly celebrated in 2025! With K.I.Z, real heavyweights of the German rap scene will be on the Summerjam stage for the first time. There are also charismatic high-flyers like GReeeN and Paula Hartmann, who both manage to win over the audience with their songs in their own unique way. An absolute highlight is the brilliant comeback of Irie Révoltés, who will create a great atmosphere with their mix of reggae, ska and hip-hop. The first line-up announcement is rounded off by the exceptional duo Max Herre & Joy Denalane, who will win the hearts of fans with their unique soul reggae sound.
"We are proud to once again put together a line-up that not only honors our roots, but also celebrates the diversity of music. Whether rap, reggae or soul - these artists make the festival something very special," explains Marius Brozi.
Very Special Guest: Who makes the scene go crazy?
Another absolute highlight remains a secret for now. The organizer has announced that they will bring an international superstar of the scene to Cologne as a "Very Special Guest". Who it is, however, has not yet been revealed. "We are working on something really big and are sure that the fans will be more than just excited. But more will only be announced in the coming weeks," says Marius Brozi with a wink.
