Joeane “Jo” Archer (born March 13, 1989) is a singer, songwriter, and a motivator. She is most strongly associated with Reggae, Pop and Dancehall Fusion genre. “Jo” is from Trinidad & Tobago and lives on the Island of Tobago.
As a child, Jo Archer often sang to express her emotions and thoughts, her vocal talent was discovered by her mother Verldene Archer-Quashie who overheard her singing In the bathroom at the age of twelve. Her mother motivated her to join the community youth group choir, and secondary school choir.
Her natural inclination towards music made her pursue “Vocal Production” at the World’s Renowned Institution “The Berklee Online College of Music”, which landed her a Celebrity Scholarship.
She also pursued “Music Business/Industry” at The PointBlank Online School of Music. Inspired and influenced by the legendary Bob Marley, Beres Hammond, Duane Stephenson, Richie Spice, Luciano, Gramps Morgan, Nadia Batson, Jessie J, Alexandra Burke, Celine Dion, and Ed Sheeran.
