Kaya Black ADD

Born in Kingston Jamaica, but now living in Raleigh NC, and recording a new album between Nashville TN and Hawaii.

The son of Jamaican reggae artist photographer Johnnie Black, Kaya blends reggae with American 90's pop rock bands & artists like Matchbox Twenty. Kyle Cook lead guitarist of the band actually plays guitar on his song Burn From You and Kaya gives a reggae flavor to the hit Lonely No More by Rob Thomas.

On a lot of Kaya’s songs he teams up with on Grammy award winning reggae and R&B producer J-Vibe, Producer Tyler Cain, who has worked with Gramps Morgan, Shane Brown and also Bob Marley & The Wailers engineer Errol Brown to work on his music. Named after a Bob Marley album & song, Kaya says he was captivated by music at an early age.
