Koro Fyah ADD
From the great island of Jamaica Shane “Koro Fyah” Dixon emerges with a mission to leave his indelible mark on its rich music history. This Bebble Rock Music artist is a lyrical yet very conscious musician that can woo the coldest woman, and move the biggest army with his commanding delivery and unique style. A man with a versatile musical outlook Koro is as mesmerizing performing his chopping intricate hip-hop/dancehall verses as well as singing his melodic, almost anthem like reggae tracks.
Koro Fyah has always had a genuine love for music, and has honed his sharp skills on the streets of Kingston from as early as 18. Influenced by the likes of Wu-tang, Nas, Peter Tosh and Sizzla to even the memories of his mother singing or playing classic cuts from Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. All this has helped to shape the impressive writing technique and vocal delivery of this artist that the world will soon come to know.
But this artiste is not just about making good music, no, his music is as much about substance as sound. Fed up with the music of today, the times of today and the outlook of tomorrow; Koro has taken an admirable path of positivity in his music. Seeing the need for the change in the culture of his country Jamaica, he has decided to be that change, rather, he has decided to be that reminder to people of what the culture once was.
Koro has been steadily working on his craft for several years now, recording several tracks as part of the Bebble Team music group with his first official releases coming from the heavily featured Bebble Business album debuting in mid 2007. He then followed up with the gripping single “Make A Way” on the California based production house; Raspire’s, “Thiefin riddim”. He has since been a guest on various collaborations over the years culminating in his blockbuster appearance on the Kabaka Pyramid track “Betta Mus Come” garnering an underground following in the local and international music space.
Now pursuing his solo career; and armed with an arsenal of new singles to be released, Koro is primed to take on the world with his catalogue and ready to take his place as an ambassador for quality conscious music.
This heavily rooted proponent of Rastafari has a renewed inspiration and motivation to excel the culture as he proclaims it is indeed a “New day and new dawn” on the horizon of his career.
