The 58th Grammys revealed the nominees today. Check the 5 nominees in the category BEST REGGAE ALBUM!
What are the eligibility requirements?
For the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards, albums must be released between Oct. 1, 2014 and Sept. 30, 2015. Recordings must be commercially released in general distribution in the United States, i.e. sales by label to a branch or recognized independent distributor, via the Internet, or mail order/retail sales for a nationally marketed product.
Last year's Grammy award went to Ziggy Marley’s Fly Rasta album!
Interesting facts: for Jah Cure, Morgan Heritage, Barrington Levy & Rocky Duwani it’s the first time to get nominated.
Luciano was nominated for his 2001 A New Day album. And even with his 2015 release Maestro, Ky-Mani Marley didn’t make the cut.
