Train To Roots ADD
Among the most important representatives of the Italian music scene, the Train To Roots have become one of the most interesting band of the Italian reggae. Founded in 2004, the island band has recorded two albums, the self-titled debut album "TRAIN TO ROOTS" (2005) and "TERRA E ACQUA" (2008) with the collaboration of Sergent Garcia and Ranking Joe, then reprinted In the Deluxe version in 2009. The same year also significant is the participation in the compilation "B SIDE" of Radio DeeJay edited by DJ Alessio Bertallot.
The intensive studio work is reflected in the band's engaging live performances, which in recent years has shared the stages of some of the most important the Reggae Festivals in Italy (Rototom Sunsplash (UD), Reggae Explosion (RO), Sardinia Reggae Festival (SS) ...), and crossed the borders to perform in Spain, Slovenia, Hungary and Germany. Also important is the path of growth and study undertaken as a backing band for international artists such as Ali Cambpel, General Levy, Errol Bellot and others. But without a doubt the strength of the Train to Roots is the ability to identify themselves in all facets of Jamaican Music. And after taking a course in Anglo-Jamaican roots music in 2010, the Train To Roots dress of a new musical identity.
Constantly looking for fresh and exciting sound, the band presents itself in 2010, with a high-impact combination of three voices Paolinho, Bujumannu and Rootsman I. The change of direction sought by the band is obvious in the denunciation track "IS NOT A CRIME" the first single released in 2010, and dedicated to Rototom Sunsplash, the largest European reggae event, forced to leave the Italian venue for political reasons.
For the spring of 2011 is planned to be released the band's new album titled "BRATHIN 'FAYA" A new approach to reggae music, much more modern and contemporary, but also the inevitable necessity that has always characterized the train of roots, to bring a message and address issues too often forgotten by a devoid society with no values like the nowadays one.
