Zosia McGregor ADD
Zosia McGregor was born on June 18th in Kingston, Jamaica to parents Dalaica Wright and Frederick “Freddie” McGregor. Growing up in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, Zosia decided to relocate back to Jamaica with the intentions of pursuing her love for music and the arts.
Zosia’s appreciation for the arts was then heightened when she attended Edna Manley College for Visual and Performing Arts studying drama. It was then that she realized her desire to sing; which was growing within her from she was 7 years old, became more overwhelming and needed to finally be explored. Ras – I was the very first artiste in which she began doing background vocals for and who also started an impressive list of other talented artistes she’s had the opportunity to work with. That growing roster includes Runkus, Kelissa and Dre Island.
This reggae offspring hopes to get the gratifying privilege of working with producers like UIM, Winta James, and Teflon from Zincfence Records. She also wishes to work with artistes such as Chris Martin and Alaine to name a few. Her top musical influences include Asa, Lianne La Havas, Sia and Rihanna. Zosia’s unique sound stems from a reggae R&B fusion that perfectly intertwines with soul. Her captivating voice will leave you intrigued and wanting to hear more. It is no doubt that she’s inherited the appealing musical sounds of her father, the legendary Freddie McGregor.
