Reggaeland Festival began in 2006, when it was launched on the magical site of Plock’s sandy beach.
The event was the idea of the local Council’s House of Culture and Arts (POKIS) with their employee Grzegorz ‘Zagiel’ Zaglewski taking the main production role. From its inception Reggaeland has been considered a major Polish roots music festival and immediately became a important date in the summer diarys of the followers of the red, gold and green.
Shows from megastars in the genre, top artists and sound systems from Poland, professional production and beautiful setting are a few of the reasons why each year the festival attracts thousands of enthusiatic fans from Poland and across Europe.
2010 brings three important changes.
For the first time the festival is organized by two companies: Positive Music Promotion (Ostróda Reggae Festival producer) and World Media.
For the first time Reggaland will last for three days.
Reggaland will celebrate an anniversary (Their 5th)!
